His clients are frequently in the banking and financial services industry. Brophy is also experienced in mergers and acquisitions, investigations, and civil litigation concerning market power, agreements, cartels, and concerted practices.

"In particular, Vincent’s strong and growing reputation as one of Europe’s go-to lawyers for cartel investigations and follow-on litigation nicely complements our market-leading practice in the United States. Increasingly, competition authorities and plaintiffs’ lawyers are coordinating across borders; integrating Vincent’s first-rank capability with our existing U.S. capability will further distinguish Cadwalader’s antitrust practice and enhance our global reputation as a destination antitrust practice."
