The law firm of Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP has promoted antitrust attorney Rachel Adcox to partner, effective January 1, the firm has announced. She is a member of Axinn’s Antitrust group and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Adcox represents foreign and domestic clients in Department of Justice and FTC mergers and criminal cartel investigations, as well as civil non-merger matters. Her work involves a wide range of industries, including alcoholic beverages, automotive parts, health insurance, livestock production and meatpacking, and mobile device operating systems. She was previously an attorney at the Justice Department Antitrust Division, where she participated in merger investigations and litigated cases. Adcox received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and her law degree from The George Washington University Law School.
