Shareholder and corporate governance law firm Grant & Eisenhofer, P.A. has launched a national consumer class action litigation practice and has added Chicago-based litigator Adam J. Levitt as a director, the firm announced on January 28. Levitt will lead the new practice and will head the firm’s newly-opened Chicago office.
Levitt, who was previously a partner with Wolf Haldenstein in Chicago, has one of the nation’s leading consumer class action practices, according to Grant & Eisenhofer. He has handled class action cases in the areas of antitrust, advertising law, securities, and products liability. A graduate of Columbia University and Northwestern University School of Law, Levitt has served as co-lead counsel in two of the largest agri/biotech class actions in recent years, securing more than $1 billion in damages.
