Dr. Joshua Gans, a leading antitrust and intellectual property expert, has joined The Brattle Group as an academic advisor. Gans is a Professor of Strategic Management and the Jeffrey S. Skoll Chair of Technical Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, according to the firm's announcement.
Among his credentials, Gans served as chief economic expert witness to the FTC in its antitrust claim of exclusionary conduct and abuse of market power against Intel. He also has advised Microsoft in antitrust and patent royalty matters.
