Princeton Economics Group (PEG) provides economic research, data analysis, and expert testimony to law firms and corporations involved in antitrust and other forms of commercial litigation.

He has testified in federal court cases, and has appeared before the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of State, and the Canadian Bureau of Competition Policy. The Department of Justice has also retained him to analyze the likely effects of business combinations. Prior to forming PEG, Bronsteen served as the first in-house antitrust economist for the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Bronsteen received his A.B. in Economics from Stanford University, and his M.A., C. Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from the University of California-Los Angeles.
Elzinga, the Robert C. Taylor Professor of Economics at the University of Virginia, will serve as a Senior Consultant for Compass Lexecon. He has testified in several high-profile antitrust cases, and has focused his research on pricing strategy and market definition. He teaches a seminar on Antitrust Policy at the University of Virginia, and has received the University’s Thomas Jefferson Award, the Alumni Association's Distinguished Professor Award, the Commonwealth of Virginia's Outstanding Faculty Award, and awards in education from the Kenan and Templeton foundations.
