    The ABA’s Forum on Franchising, Center for Professional Development, and Tort Trial and Insurance Section are sponsoring a webinar, providing practical insurance guidance for franchisors, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.

    The webinar will provide an overview of insurance coverages that are available to protect against today’s "hot topics" that franchisors face, including cyber risks, franchisor's errors and omissions, and employment risks such as joint employer liability. The session will cover recent changes to “Additional Insured” endorsements and how these changes impact the protection of franchisees’ insurance, as well as discussing sample franchise agreement provisions dealing with insurance-related issues.

    Moderated by franchise attorney Kathryn Hiscock Rookes, the webinar will feature Doug Imholte, who leads the Franchise Insurance and Risk Prevention Group for Marsh & McLennan Agency, and Nicholas N. Nierengarten of Gray Plant Mooty.
