The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has announced that it will hold an open meeting on January 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The EEOC will consider two matters—the recission of commission voting procedures and a resolution concerning chair and commission roles given the agency’s organizational changes.

The meeting will occur in person at EEOC headquarters in Washington, D.C., and will be held as an audio-only dial-in by telephone. ASL services will be available. Instructions for joining the dial-in meeting will be posted on the EEOC’s website at least 24 hours before the meeting, although the notice provides information for the public to contact the agency “at any time for information on this meeting.” The public will be able to observe the commission’s meeting in accordance with the Sunshine Act. A transcript will also be made available on the EEOC’s website after the meeting.

The telephone number to contact the federal agency for further information is (202) 921-2750 or you can email the agency at commissionmeetingcomments@eeoc.gov.
