The dashboard incorporates data from over 550 local workforce development boards nationwide.

Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Labor announced it has created a performance dashboard to provide information on federally-funded Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Adult, Youth, and Dislocated Worker programs.

Data from 2023. The dashboard is expected to provide program performance indicators from program year 2023, including: participant employment rates in the second and fourth quarters after they exit a program; participants’ median earnings in the second quarter after exit; the rate of participants who attained a credential while in a program, or within one year of exit; and the rate of training participants who gained one or more measurable skills during a program year.

Filtering. Additionally, the dashboard will include data on total participant count, total participants trained, and the number of participants who are engaged in Registered Apprenticeship programs. Users will be able to filter performance outcomes by state, or by a specific local workforce development board. Public users will also have access to a downloadable version of the data.

“This exciting new tool will help us ensure taxpayer-funded investments in our nation’s workers are fulfilling their intended purpose by giving state and local leaders a better understanding of what is working and what isn’t,” said Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer.
