Authorized dealers will replace the fuel line if leakage is detected.
Textron E-Z-GO has issued a recall for approximately 90,800 personal transportation vehicles (PTVs) in the United States, and an additional 7,300 units in Canada, due to a potential fuel leak at the quick-connect fitting between the fuel line and the fuel injector mounted on the engine. This poses a risk of serious injury and fire (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-021 (Oct. 16, 2025)).
Incidents and injuries. No injuries have been reported.
Product description. These vehicles, commonly referred to as golf carts or golf cars, are used primarily for transporting people.
The vehicles were manufactured in the United States and were sold at Textron dealerships and distributors nationwide from September 2019 through June 2025 for between $8,400 and $14,000.
Remedy. Textron E-Z-GO is offering a free repair as the remedy. Consumers are advised to stop using the vehicles immediately and contact Textron E-Z-GO or an authorized dealer for inspection and, if necessary, repair.
