July 24, 2023. CPSC is inviting comments on a petition requesting that it initiate a rulemaking to eliminate the footbrake requirement for certain sidewalk bicycles, which generally are children’s bikes (CPSC Request for comment on petition for rulemaking, 88 FR 33857, May 25, 2023).
