TOMY International Inc. has recalled about 40,000 Boon NURSH 8 oz reusable baby bottles due to a choking hazard posed by the product’s hard plastic outer shell, which can bubble or partially peel off and create loose pieces of film-like plastic that young children could ingest (CPSC Recall Notice, No. 26-530 (June 4, 2026)).
Incidents and injuries. The firm has received 135 reports of the outer plastic shell bubbling or peeling. No injuries have been reported in connection with the issue.

The bottles feature a hard outer plastic shell that surrounds a soft silicone pouch, with the Boon logo displayed on the side. Item number B11654 and UPC 669028116546 are printed on the bottom of the product packaging.
The recalled bottles were sold exclusively at Walmart stores and online at Walmart.com from November 2025 through May 2026 for about $20. The products were imported by TOMY International Inc., based in Oak Brook, Illinois.
