The registrant did not request a hearing, and the DEA found him to be in default.

On February 18, 2026, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) issued an Order to Show Cause (OSC) to Stephen Bossenberry, M.D., of Grand Blanc, Michigan (Registrant). The OSC proposed the revocation of the registrant’s Certificate of Registration No. FB7239393, alleging that the registrant’s registration should be revoked because the registrant is “currently without authority to prescribe, administer, dispense, or otherwise handle controlled substances in the State of Michigan, the state in which [he is] registered with DEA.” (citing 21 U.S.C. 824(a)(3)). Because the registrant lacks authority to handle controlled substances in Michigan, the registrant is not eligible to maintain a DEA registration. Accordingly, the DEA ordered that the registrant’s DEA registration be revoked (Notice, 91 Fed. Reg. 57163 (Sept. 8, 2026)).

Dates. The order is effective October 8, 2026.
