Following a request for public comment in May 2015, the Canada Competition Bureau has published the final version of the “Competition and Compliance Framework” bulletin. The bulletin, which replaced the former “Conformity Continuum Information” bulletin, is designed to help businesses compete and prosper within the law.

This bulletin describes a comprehensive and integrated approach to promoting compliance with the legislation the Bureau enforces, namely the Competition Act, the Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act (except as it relates to food), the Textile Labelling Act, and the Precious Metals Marking Act.

The comments received were considered in the review of the final bulletin.
