    By Jody Coultas, J.D.

Target Corporation and the defendants in an ongoing antitrust suit regarding cathode ray tubes stipulated and agreed that state antitrust and consumer protection law claims would be dismissed with prejudice, according to the federal district court in San Francisco (In re Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Antitrust Litigation, November 24, 2014, Conti, S.).

Target asserted claims for relief against cathode ray tube manufacturers under the Sherman Act; the Arizona, California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, and Wisconsin antitrust statutes; and the California Unfair Competition Law.

All parties agreed to bear their own costs and fees with respect to the dismissed claims. The dismissal did not apply to the Sherman Act claim.

The case is Master File No. 3:07-cv-05944-SC.
