A new online form is “designed to simplify the preparation of certified payroll reports.”

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) yesterday announced two major updates aimed at improving compliance and reducing administrative burdens under the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA). These include an Online Fillable WH-347 Form and an Annotated WH-347 Guide.

Online form. Contractors and subcontractors can now access a “modern, user-friendly” web-based version of the WH-347 Certified Payroll Form, according to the agency, allowing users to enter required data directly online. The streamlined interface is designed to minimize common errors and make weekly certified payroll submissions faster and more accurate.

Annotated WH-347 guide. To complement existing written instructions, WHD has introduced a new annotated WH-347 guide. This visual resource shows exactly where each data element should be recorded, helping compliance professionals better understand the form’s layout and purpose.

Both resources are available immediately and are intended to promote consistent reporting practices across DBRA-covered projects. For questions, employers and other stakeholders can contact the Division of Government Contracts Enforcement at DGCEinquiries@dol.gov.
