    Caribbean territory Anguilla is to remove goods and services tax on all food items, with the exception of confectionary and items containing alcohol.

    Announcing a recent consultation on the plans, the Government confirmed that the change is expected to be effective from December 18, 2024.

    The measure was announced in the territory's 2025-2027 Medium Term Economic and Fiscal Plan, to support households.
